This antibody is specific to Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF-1) and shows minimal cross-reaction with IGF-11, Proinsulin, MSF, and Insulin. IGF-1 is a polypeptide growth factor with two isoforms that are produced by alternative splicing. Isoform 1 is also known as IGF-IB while isoform 2 is known as IGF-IA. IGF-1 stimulates the proliferation of a wide range of cell types including muscle, bone and cartilage tissue. It functions as an autocrine regulator of growth. Recognizes a protein of 75 kDa, identified as γ heavy chain of human immunoglobulins. It reacts with all sub-classes of γ chain of human immunoglobulins. It does not cross-react with α (IgA), μ (IgM), ε (IgE), or δ (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes. This MAb is useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Recognizes a protein of 55 kDa, identified as CD25 (Workshop IV; Code A27). CD25 is expressed on activated T- and B-cells and activated monocytes/macrophages. With respect to lymphomas, CD25 is present on malignant cells of Hodgkin's disease, HTLV-1 adult T-cell leukemia, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, and hair cell leukemia. Increased levels of soluble CD25 are observed in the leukemias/lymphomas and inflammatory/ autoimmune diseases. CD25 molecule alone appears to function as a low affinity receptor and associates with CD122 (IL-2R beta chain, p75) and CD132 (common gamma chain) to form the high affinity IL-2 receptor complex. CD25 antibodies detect three epitope regions, A, B and C. The highly leukemogenic avian retrovirus E26 contains two oncogenes, v-Myb and v-Ets, which are expressed together as a fusion protein. The cellular homolog of v-Myb, designated c-Myb, encodes a transcription factor. Deletion or disruption of a negative regulatory domain mapping within the carboxy-terminal domain of c-Myb results in enhanced transactivating capacity and in parallel, leads to activation of its ability to transform hemopoietic cells. c-Myb is expressed preferentially, but not exclusively, in immature hemopoietic cells and its expression decreases as cells differentiate.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. Recognizes a protein of 185 kDa, which is identified as c-erbB-2/HER-2/neu. Its epitope is localized in the extracellular domain. C-erbB-2/HER-2 is a member of the EGFR family. Receptors of this family are located on the plasma membrane and consist of an extracellular ligand-binding domain that is connected to a large intracellular domain by a single transmembrane sequence.
